REVIEW : Suicide By Tigers / SUICIDE BY TIGERS (2016)

The band of Suicide By Tigers is hailing from Sweden and their goal is to play classic and bluesy heavy Rock 'n' Roll stuff. The influences from late 60's, 70's, Southern blues scene are obvious in their music and that's a thing that makes Suicide By Tigers's sound so unique.

Nils Lindström, the lead shouter, has a strong and powerful voice and Petter Rudnert's guitar riffs and solos are the cherry on top. The rhythm section is really solid and at the end the final result is enjoyable from start to finish.

There are some excellent moments here such as the heavy bluesy opener of "Death On Your Trail", "Beautiful Nights", the moodier "Fox In A Hole", the heavier "True Believers" and "Keep You Smiling" that makes this debut an interesting ride through Suicide By Tigers world.

All in all, this is an extremely interesting record. Suicide By Tigers is a band that stays focused and loyal  to the roots of the classic bluesy heavy rock sound and achieves to release an album that will be appreciated by any rock fan.
