Rob Zombie has finished mixing his new solo album with producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris (HATEBREED, ALL THAT REMAINS, SHADOWS FALL). In a new tweet, Zombie said about the disc: "[it's my] best album yet. No joke." Music photographer Rob Fenn, who heard one of Zombie's new songs, called the track "unfucking REAL!!!!"
Rob Zombie recently said that "every song" on new studio album "seems different and exciting" and he "cannot wait to play" the material live once the CD is released later this year.
"Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor" sold 34,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 7 on The Billboard 200 chart. The record arrived in stores on April 23, 2013 via Zodiac Swan/T-Boy/Ume.
