In 1999, he released the equally amazing "One Step Closer" to pursue other six albums and one best-of collection containing the most important songs of his career. The collaboration with his long time friend and music partner MARK THOMPSON-SMITH can be heard in "Big Life" which won audience and received some solid reviews! So after two years of silence, it's time now for the release of NEWMAN's brand new album which is titled "Siren". In his new step, Newman collaborates with some of the top names in European melodic premier-league as ROBERT SÄLL (Work Of Art, WET), SHAUN BESSANT, PETE NEWDECK (Eden's Curse, Tainted Nation) and NICK WORKMAN (Vega, Kick) and the final result is once again guarantee!
"Siren" starts impressively good with the heavy rocker tune of "Scar Of Life". Perhaps one of the best songs in Newman's career!! "Had Enough" rocks while "Feel Her Again" the melody is in front raw. A simply fantastic song with a heavenly influenced melody and harmony that will become the next big anthem of the AOR fans of this summer! I really find it unnecessary to refer to each song separately since each track here has something of its own to offer to the listener! Beautiful melodies, inspired guitar lines, well-written and well-crafted songs and above all passionate performances that are going to make you want to hit the repeat button again and again!
This is probably the best Newman work to date, in my humble opinion!! Everything here is perfectly balanced and in the end Newman achieves to release another high quality and extremely melodic album!
